Description
This bare cream and red carpet bear a single red niche design surrounded by small, delicate scrolls. Adorned with barely perceptible borders and dots, this gracefully aged antique captures the imagination and reveals more to the eye the closer one looks at it. The central medallion is upheld by two pillars in tan, surrounded by leaves, and bears a chandelier image. Named for a small town in Cappadocia, Turkey, the Avanos style is unique and lovely.
