Description
The red and earth tones of this carpet are remarkably well kept, allowing for a sharp distinction between the field and its many borders. The most striking contrast is the field and the largest border, one gently abrashed but unadorned, the other filled with flower patterns in red, blue and pink all in various forms of blossoming. The smaller borders show the sophistication and skill of the weaver.
