Description
This antique Angora Oushak uses the consistency and color of the pale princes of antique carpets. While the medallion is small by some standards and the field bare, the border more than supplements this. Every inch of the border is filled with interlocking squares of yellow and blue, creating a tile mosaic where there is only wool. The complexities and colors wrap around the viewer and invite them to study further.
