Description
This Oushak resists type by using the same soft palette and dyeing scheme as others of its kind, but eschewing the classic central medallion for a simple field of scarlet. Oushak is a style which popularized the central medallion theme in carpets centuries ago, yet this carpet prefers to rely on its color. It does so beautifully; the red of the field is reflected inside of the flower designs of the border. The antique is gracefully aged, and tastefully colored.
