Description
This antique Afshar carpet uses a traditional tribal pattern for field and medallion. The double central medallion embodies the largest source of white in the weave and displays it prominently. Within there is a rigid box shape in red, containing blossoms and surrounded by vines and flowers. Upon the wide field, countless flowers in red and orange bloom atop a deep blue field.
