Description
This design is unique in that it is barely distinguishable from the field. The carpet is grey on grey-blue in a traditional allover design. The Oushak design is known for its durability due to its hardy knots and wool-on-wool pile. The original pattern can only be guessed at due to hard washing and erosion the carpet has undergone over the years. To a collector’s eye, a carpet such as this is a marvel at a marvelous price.
