Description
This Antique Oushak carpet abandons the most traditional style of the Oushak, the central medallion, in favor of a regal red and gold allover medallion design. The diamond medallions are settled two to a column, wreathed and surrounded on all sides by elaborate golden vines. These snaking chords feed into lateral palmetes that are tightly pressed against the triangular niches which stretch out from the border. A fine addition to any collection.
