Description
This Vintage Guney is an excellently woven and dyed piece, using a traditional set of reds, whites, saffrons, and splashes of green to coat its weave. The geometric medallion blends all of these colors expertly in forming a garden of rigid flowers on the pale ivory dye. The borders and cornerpieces further show the sophistication and variance a weaver wields in this style, carving red-stemmed flowers and constructs of whimsy from saffron and earthy brown.
